Each year, we are honored to support the academic dreams of local, member students who demonstrate commitment to their communities with our scholarship program. Through this program, we are proud to help these students take the next step in their academic journeys! Scholarship applicants are due to the office by end of business on February 5, 2026.
EXCITING NEWS!
Basin Electric Power Cooperative has increased their scholarship funds for each of their member cooperatives, allowing Grundy County REC to add an additional $1,500 Scholarship to our program!
Also new this year, Grundy County REC is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a Youth Tour applicant!
AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS:
- Grundy County REC: 3 - $1,000 Scholarships
- Basin Electric Power Cooperative: 1 - $1,000 and 1 - $1,500
- GCREC Youth Tour Applicant Scholarship: 1 - $1,000
ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants must be a child/dependent of a current GCREC member to be eligible.
