Venison marinade

Tuesday, May 1, 2012

1 cup soy sauce
1 cup olive oil
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 honey
5 cloves garlic finely minced
fresh ground black pepper.

Mix all together and pour over meat. This marinade works well with venison and waterfowl. I let the meat soak for at least 8 hours turning once half way through. You can also freeze the meat in the marinade if you choose to do so.
If you are not a big fan of garlic you can use less.

Also I like lots of pepper but you can use less of that as well.
