While it’s relatively easy to remember to check your air conditioner before turning it on to control the summer’s heat, and the same in reverse for heating equipment in the fall, it’s easy to let maintenance on other appliances lag until there’s a problem.
Consult this maintenance calendar on the RepairClinic site so you can check your appliances on a schedule. The benefits: Preventive maintenance will help extend the life of your appliances and may make them run more efficiently, too.
FYI, in May, you should be prepping your air conditioning system and dehumidifier, and in June, apply a little TLC to your fridge and freezer.
Other appliances included on the list include: humidifier, microwave, washer and dryer, ice maker, range/oven, dishwasher, and garbage disposal.
In addition, this site also contains a Repair Help section, with guides, videos, and more.
