2010 ENERGY-EFFICIENCY PROGRAM INCENTIVES
Incentives are available to all Grundy County REC members only. All incentive products must be installed on Grundy County REC lines and must be Energy Star® rated where applicable. All prices and incentives subject to change without notice and are subject to inspection by the REC.
Electric Heat Rate 5.36 cents per KWH
3.5 cents per KWH plus 1.86 cents per KWH power cost adjustment (PCA). For the winter months only (October 1st to April 30th)

Lighting

T8 or T5 lighting fixtures New or retrofit. Requires electronic ballast.
2, 4, and 8-foot up to $6/fixture
Other promotions during the year. Rebate cannot exceed cost of bulb or fixture.
Building Shell Existing homes only. Materials only (no labor). Subject to
Rebate Form inspection. For residences & outbuildings. Radiant
barriers are not eligible & maximum applies to all
insulation upgrades per year.
Insulation Must increase insulation levels to: Ceiling-R38, Walls-R19,
Foundatin-R10.

$1000 bonus Professional third-party HERS rating required. Single family homes only.
Bonus in addition to other applicable rebates. All-electric homes only
and must exceed Energy Star® requirement by at least 10%.
